Duration of Hardware Warranty
LCD PC motherboard, CPU, RAM come with three years warranty.
Hard disk, LCD Panel and power supply and the other parts except
for plastic covers with one-year warranty.
Warranty Coverage
Except for specific description, the warranty covers all
hardware parts configured by the manufacturer, including
motherboard, CPU, RAM, LCD Panel, power adaptor, CD-ROM, or DVD,
COMBO, HDD, network connector, etc.
Period of Warranty
Warranties begin on the first day of the month following the day
the product is shipped. If a RMA is required during
the warranty, Customers will not be charged a hardware repair
fee. Customers shall be financially responsible for all
transportation expenses, connected with the delivery of the
replaced and, or, fixed parts of the product.
If a defect
exists, at its sole discretion the Manufacturer will (1) repair
the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement
parts or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or
which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts
and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.
A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty period of
the original product or 360 days, whichever provides longer
coverage for customer. When a product or part is exchanged, any
replacement item becomes customer’s property and the replaced
item becomes the Manufacturer's property. Warranty service will
generally be provided by the Manufacturer's Authorised Service
Provider.
The Manufacturer's Hardware Warranty applies only to hardware
products manufactured by or for the Manufacturer. The
Manufacturer's Hardware Warranty does not apply to any
non- Manufacturer hardware products or any software, even if
packaged or sold with the Manufacturer's hardware.
The Manufacturer and its Authorised Service Providers are not
liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other
information stored on any media, or any non-Manufacturer product
or part not covered by this warranty. Recovery and
reinstallation of system and application software and user data
are not covered under The Manufacturer's Hardware Warranty.
This warranty does not apply: (1) to damage caused by accident,
abuse, misuse, misapplication, or non-Manufacturer products, (2)
to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions)
performed by anyone who is not an Sinocan Authorised Service
Provider, (3) to a product or a part that has been modified
without the written permission of The Manufacturer, (4) to a
product or part which is consumable or expendable, (5) to a
product or part that customer did not purchase from an
Authorised Reseller, (6) to a product or part for which customer
cannot provide a local warranty card (7) if any Manufacturer's
serial number has been removed or defaced, the sealed parts has
been altered, broken or opened.
Claims on quality of the goods can be directed to The
Manufacturer within the limits of the above mentioned warranty
period, but not later than 30 days after its expiration, assumed
that the defect was found during the warranty period.
Out-warranty service and any other kinds of service of the
product, rendering of information and other kinds of services
can be made by The Manufacturer on the basis of additional
agreements.
THIS WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE
EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND
CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SINOCAN
SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF SINOCAN CANNOT LAWFULLY
DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL
SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE
DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. NO SINOCAN RESELLER, AGENT, OR
EMPLOYEE IS AUTHORISED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION, EXTENSION, OR
ADDITION TO THIS WARRANTY.
THE MANUFACTURER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF
WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL,
DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF
RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA
STORED IN OR USED WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S PRODUCTS, AND
ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON
THE PRODUCT. SINOCAN SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT IT
WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR MAKE A
PRODUCT EXCHANGE WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR DATA.
FOR CONSUMERS WHO HAVE THE BENEFIT OF CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS
OR REGULATIONS IN THEIR COUNTRY OF PURCHASE, THE BENEFITS
CONFERRED BY THIS WARRANTY ARE IN ADDITION TO ALL RIGHTS AND
REMEDIES CONVEYED BY SUCH CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS AND
REGULATIONS. TO THE EXTENT THAT LIABILITY UNDER SUCH CONSUMER
PROTECTION LAWS AND REGULATIONS MAY BE LIMITED, THE LIABILITY OF
THE MANUFACTURER IS LIMITED, AT THE SOLE OPTION OF THE
MANUFACTURER, TO REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF THE MANUFACTURER'S
PRODUCTS OR SUPPLY OF THE REPAIR SERVICE AGAIN.
Dead on Arrival (DOA)
Any product with hardware found to be nonfunctional (unable to
power up, load OS, and perform standard functionality) within 30
days of shipment shall be deemed Dead on Arrival (DOA).
DOA products
must be shipped out to The Manufacturer by customer within 5
business days after a DOA is confirmed by The Manufacturer. DOA
products will be advance replaced and shipped within 5 business
days after The Manufacturer received the ship-out notice from
the customer at no cost to the customer. To initiate a DOA
replacement, Contact Technical Support to setup a RMA.
To initiate a RMA, Contact Technical Support.
A Technical Support Engineer will work with you to troubleshoot
the issue and verify if a hardware repair or replacement is
necessary.
If a RMA is deemed necessary, the Support Engineer will collect
the following Customer information and forward to the RMA
Department for processing:
Company Name
Delivery Address
Contact Name
Contact Phone Number
Problem Description
Product Model Number
Product Serial Number
The RMA Department will email the Customer the RMA Number and
Instruction on returning the defective product.
Estimated Delivery Times of Replacement Products
Within five business days after receiving defected parts, The
Manufacturer will send out the replaced part to the address
assigned by the clients.
Returning Products to The Manufacturer
All material returned to the Manufacturer must be accompanied
with a RMA number. The Manufacturer reserves the right to refuse
shipments that do not include the RMA number. Refused shipments
will be returned to the shipper via collect freight.
When returning products to the Manufacturer, include a
description of the hardware failure along with any special
shipping instructions for the replacement unit.
RMA Warranty
Replacement units are warranted for 360 days or until the end of
the original product warranty or contract service term,
whichever comes later.
